This half sheet was created on location in about fifteen minutes. I had to work fast. In Aruba to paint with friend Terry, I somehow survived this island’s winds which never cease and caused this 15″ x 22″ half sheet of paper to flutter, flap and dry the transparent watercolors in seconds. Very difficult to keep a large wash going. Impossible to drop in any colors. But I love this painting and the memories that go with it.
I wish I knew who purchased it – I was never told.
