The original was painted en plein air. I always put a folded old oriental rug down under my feet to keep my toes from freezing. Print images of the original are on 140 lb acid-free watercolor paper and are available in two sizes: a 22″x15″ image with 1-1/2″ border (prints limited to 250) and a 15″x11″ image with 1″ border (prints limited to 250). Each Giclee is reproduced at 1800 “squirts” per square inch using pigmented inks to provide a wide color gamut, vibrant image quality and long-lasting print life of museum quality. Giclee is French for “to spray” or “to sputter.” Because there is no visible dot screen pattern, the resulting image has all the subtle tonalities of the original and colors do not bleed into each other. It is recommended that this print be handled like any fine original to last a lifetime. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive dust, smoke or humidity for maximum longevity. Each print is numbered and signed by the Artist.
