“Chickens Near Barn” won an Honorable Mention for Watercolors at the International Juried 2011 Art Ability Exhibition.
“Sunflowers-Viridian Leaves“ was recently given the “Merit Award” by Neil Driebelbis, Juror of Selection and Awards for The Art League’s Winter Show. Mr. Driebelbis’s Juror comments were: “Well handled medium -painterly expression.”
“Italian Market-Salad Shopping” recently won the Great Frame Up Award in the Expressions of Radnor Exhibition at Wayne Art
Older News:Mimi Barclay Johnson became one of 37 artists from across America selected in December 2010 to paint portraits of children in a home in Boston. She is also one of a select number of national artists juried into the current Healing Arts Works Project at Coopers University Hospital in NJ with her work, “Bougainvillea Blooming-Mykonos (Greece).” Mimi’s “Lollipop Fairies” is at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia also through Healing Arts Works.
