This historic house with its Colonial gardens and farm animals is in Bryn Mawr, PA, where area beekeepers spin out their honey and teens in summer can learn colonial arts, including blacksmithing. The original transparent watercolor was painted en plein air. Print image size is 12″ x 9″ with a 1″ white border all around on acid-free 140 lb watercolor paper. Each Giclee is reproduced at 1800 “squirts” per square inch using pigmented inks to provide a wide color gamut, vibrant image quality and long-lasting print life of museum quality. Giclee is French for “to spray” or “to sputter.” Because there is no visible dot screen pattern, the resulting image has all the subtle tonalities of the original and colors do not bleed into each other. It is recommended that this print be handled like any fine original to last a lifetime. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive dust, smoke or humidity for maximum longevity. Each print is numbered and signed by the Artist. Please contact artist if interested in postcards, cards, or invitations.
