A friend and I painted this charming stone cottage on a sunny but very windy summer day and more than once strong gusts blew our canvases off our easels onto our faces. But the beauty of the farm kept us there. The fields were filled with Queen Anne’s Lace and blue Bachelor Buttons. The work is oil on canvas board 14″ x 11″. This painting if still available is scheduled to show at Beaumont in Bryn Mawr, PA with the artists of French Creek Art Colony.
